I'm Grace. I'm a nutrition advisor, gym instructor and personal trainer.* I'm based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. My philosophy is pretty simple- Eat Plants, and Move More. My mission is to help as many people (re)discover a love for exercise and nutrition, working with achievable goals for sustainable lifestyle change.
My Story
My plant based lifestyle began over 25 years ago, when much to my mother's delight, I announced aged 7 that I was now a vegetarian. I was always active-I did gymnastics and swam, and played various sports through school and the Air Training Corps, representing both Central and East Yorkshire and North Wales at a number of sports, and hockey at university.
Fast forward a few years, and exercise had fallen off the radar. I took up running because it was the only thing I could commit to, and signed myself up for a 10k- Running was a new challenge for me. I caught the bug- and so I ran the Yorkshire Marathon to raise money for domestic abuse services, followed by a 100k in 10 days to raise money for the Royal British Legion after their Poppy Appeal was hit due to Covid restrictions.
Alongside my new love of running, I studied nutrition, and spent 3 years working in supplementation for minor health conditions, specialising in sports. This led studying for personal training qualifications.
I'm currently focusing on rebuilding my fitness after a broken ankle (slowly, slowly wins the race!)
